Baby Bullet Solar Leaf Close Up Nautilus Shell

A central component to a region’s sustainability is the opportunity for leaders to hear from community stakeholders as they form policy. Task Force groups, steering committees, alliances and focus groups are common to San Mateo County and pull together advice and direction on issues ranging from air quality and green business to housing and community health.

Sustainable San Mateo County regularly participates in these groups. We draw upon a diverse and talented core of board members, staff and volunteers to lend a sustainability voice to these initiatives. If you are looking for members to your next task force (be it economic, environmental or social in topic), please contact the SSMC office and we’ll do our best to help out.
