Sustainable San Mateo County is partnering with, Recurve, and Energy Beyond Design www.energybeyonddesign.com (home performance contractors) to have a series of Home Energy Efficiency Parties. Volunteers are asked to make presentations to their community networks to support the program. Volunteers are looking for homeowners to purchase a home for an energy performance evaluation then host a party for friends and associates to talk about all the health, comfort and energy saving ideas they could put to use. The home becomes a case study to use for education purposes. This program is called the “Energy Ambassador” program.

We’re looking for volunteers who can make simple presentations to groups of people with the goal of homeowners committing to host a party. Then, help them plan and facilitate the party…….with a presentation from both Sustainable San Mateo County and the home performance contractor. This opportunity is great for both individuals or teams of two or more. The geographic area is San Mateo County.
